Bridge

Kitchener, Ontario

EECF was subcontracted by J-AAR to complete the structural work for the Schneider Creek Bridge project. The scope included replacing the structural steel diaphragms between the girders with modified roller diaphragms to accommodate a new 600 mm watermain, as well as installing and launching the watermain, constructing concrete deck medians and sidewalks, and completing the approach slabs and joints. With the bridge deck already cast and structural steel limiting access, EECF used skid plates and articulating work platforms to safely and efficiently complete the watermain installation.
